Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert H. Yano said, 143 of the confiscated marijuana plants were seedling and 363 were nursing plants.
The marijuana plants were seized from the two small farms in Ngedebus Island. However, the marijuana plants in the third farm were already harvested, while the eight other farms were abandoned when the operatives arrived.
The operation was led by Detective Sgt. Temdik Ngirblekuu.
Yano said after the team confiscated all the marijuana plants they were destroyed in Ngedebus.
This was the third marijuana operation held by the CIDE in Peleliu State this year. The first and second marijuana operations were held in June and July.
Thousands of marijuana plants with a street value of $128,500 were confiscated by the CIDE during the two previous operations.
According to the CIDE, Peleliu State has the biggest marijuana plantation among other States.This illegal drug is allegedly distributed to the Koror State and the entire Republic of Palau.
