She worked for a few months in the U.S. and eventually obtained a scholarship in Regis University located in Denver, Colorado.Ngoriakl said the4-year degree scholarship grant will cost at least $100,000.Ngoriakl is currently in Palau for a vacation and will go back to the U.S, to continue her studies in July.Ngoriakl, is also taking up a minor in politics focusing in human rights.Aside from her studies, Ngoriakl is busy with civic duties such as attendance of different scholastic conferences.She said that the latest conference she will be attending on the students against sweat shops.She said she is against child labor and would refuse to patronizeproducts that uses child labor.“I was blessed with scholarship. I am moved by injustice and this is my fight,” she said.She added that that she believes in Mahatma Gandhi’s words, “ an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”She also said she also believe in the fight against global warming..She said she plans to go back in Palau after she graduates and share her achievements to her country.
