Remengesau and the FAA also signed an $800,000 grant agreement for the airport master plan, which will include the Peleliu and Angaur airports.The FAA has provided Palau with over $20 million in grant for airport improvement projects.In related news, the National Emergency Committee and the Bureau of Aviation, in collaboration with the FAA, will hold a full scale exercise on Sept. 25.Vice President Elias Camsek Chin said the aim of the exercise is to find out Palau’s readiness to respond to an aircraft crash.He said emergency responders will be responding to a simulated airport incident.He asked the public to yield the right of way to emergency vehicles.
