Palauans attend Jica training program for young leaders

From August 24 to September 10, 2009, Umedip will be attending the Policy on Information & Communication Technology training, while Smau will be attending the Administrative Management training.

The training program is conducted by JICA under a technical cooperation scheme of the Government of Japan with the purpose of promoting human resource development.  Under the program, young leaders who will become nation-building leaders in the future are invited to Japan to develop their specialties through experiencing and learning technologies and skills in Japan and increase their willingness to resolve issue on their own.There have been 7 Palauans accepted to various trainings provided by JICA since April 2009.  To learn more about JICA training, contact Ministry of State or JICA Palau Office.
