Tabernacle donated

The donations were made by Adolfo Novio and his mother who is based in Vancouver, Canada.

The donation made is a four gospel symbol tabernacle, “is a solid platinum outer case, while gold values, fire proof , water resistant and anti-shock lock and secured.”The tabernacle is said to have cost $10,000.Novio said that he has been volunteering his services to the Catholic Church in Palau. Novio said that the volunteering work he does is in the areas in liturgical services, education and music.Novio said his two year missionary work has formally ended in Dec. 2008 and presently pursuing his masteral degree in the Catholic University of London.He also claimed that the Filipino family is involved in giving the Church sacred vessels to many Churches in Africa, Papua New Guinea , Philippines and now in Palau.Novio said that this donation has been an initiative due to the construction of the new church in Echang, and will set an example to more people who want to help for the building of a new St. Joseph Church.
