KOROR (Palau Horizon) – A MAN was rushed to the hospital after his car crashed into the rock in Airai State on Wednesday night.
The victim was identified as Scott Skebong, 19 years old.
Police investigation disclosed that at around 9:19 p.m. the victim was driving his car heading toward theAirai State from theKoror State.When the victim near to the K-B Shell gas station his carlost control and collided into the big rock at the side of the road.
Due to strong impact, the caroverturned and incurred severe damages to the front bumper, the collision alsodented thefront windshield and back shield of the vehicle.
Skebong sustainedinjuries on his left hand and at thebackof his head. He was rushed to the hospital and was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit.
While his passenger identified as Midway Remenelau, 17 years old also sustained injuries on his left arm, head and back.
The case is pending for further investigation.
