SAIPAN International School and Run Saipan will host the third annual Star Wars Day Run in the CNMI this Saturday. But this year, it has a twist. Instead of May the 4th Be With You, this year it will be the Revenge of the Sixth, a tribute to Star Wars-Episode III-Revenge of the Sith, the sixth movie in the series.
The day will start off with the traditional NMI Jedi 5K run and a Sith 6K at 4:30 p.m. The Padawan 1 Miler for children 12 and under will start at 5 p.m. As usual, the kids’ race is free of charge but there is also the option of registration with a medal for $5. Star Wars-themed costumes is encouraged for all participants and there will be NMI Jedis available for pictures on site.
