Alert driving sought for coffee trail run

The run will begin at 6:30 am at American Memorial Park, cross Beach Road and Chalan Pale Arnold, and proceed up Navy Hill to Mt. Tapochau. The extended 30-kilometer course will run this year across Isa Drive on Capitol Hill to Wireless Ridge, before returning through Capitol Hill to Puerto Rico and then the finish line at American Memorial Park. The 10k course follows portions of the same route.

“We’re looking to another fun and safe run for all the participants,” said Marianas Visitors Authority Community Projects Manager Martin Duenas. “We’d like to remind drivers to exercise caution along this year’s new route from the start of the race until it finishes around 10:30 am.”

The Marianas Coffee Trial Run is an annual signature event of the MVA and Marianas Coffee Company. The event is also sponsored by KFC Triathlon Japan, TEAM PDI, and Northern Mariana Athletics.
