Team Rent-A-Car gripped the lead of the game in the opening ten minutes of the quarter. Team players Jess Stoll and Jack Palacios each bagged 4 points while working with strong teamwork with teammates George Villasan who chipped in his three pence to dominate the quarter over the Armatechs.
By the end of the quarter team Rent-A-Car was on a winning rampage and was leading by 5 points over Armatech, 20-15.
The Armatechs managed to yank the lead from team Rent-A-Car upon entering the second quarter of the game.
Bernard Montano, team captain of the Armatechs, scored 10 points throughout the quarter working with teammates Sonny Ebuen and Faustino Bello each scored 4 points a piece with less than 3 minutes of the quarter left.
Team Rent-A-Car did not go down without a fight. Team player Lilio Tiples scored a whopping 9 points deficit in his attempt to keep the safe gap between themselves and the Armatechs. But despite this major effort, the Armatechs managed a shaky one point lead over team Rent-A-Car after Montano sealed the quarter shut with a down town shot.
By half time the score was a steady 43-42 in favor of the Armatechs.
Both teams entered the second half of the bout strong and fierce. Team Rent-A-Car wrenched the lead from the Armatechs after team player Palacios scored 8 points while teammate Rey Darag readily showed his basketball talents after fending off 4 points for team Rent-A-Car.
Team Captain Warron Villegas sealed the third quarter shut with a down town shot to obtain the upper hand of the game from the Armatechs by three points, 65-62.
The last quarter of the game sent the fans in an uproar. But the Armatechs managed a come from behind win past team Rent-A-Car after team captain Montano scored 8 points while his players Ebuen and Martin Moreno scored 7 points and 4 points respectively.
In the last seconds of the game Ebuen was followed making his way down to the court. The referees decided on giving him two charity shots. He sunk both in with great and lifted the Armatechs above Rent-A-Car by two points, 87-85.
