Ayuyu hits 3 HRs, help No Zones advance in Budweiser softball

Ayuyu who has yet to hit the individual stats for home runs homered thrice—one solo and two run-scoring home runs as he led the winning rally against DLNR, 26-15. He had six RBIs.

Ned Norita who placed fourth in the latest stats followed Ayuyu’s path with a solo home run to secure a two-run advantage over DLNR. He hit three RBIs.

Bruce Norita duplicated Ayuyu’s run-scoring home run for his fifth RBI and stretched the lead to four runs in the third inning. 

Nick Guerrero and Bruce foiled DLNR’s attempt to close the gap with a double play in the bottom of the fourth inning.

DLNR’s Pete Tegeita and Osang Olkeriil held No Zones scoreless in the fifth but Guerrero fired a run-scoring homerun for his fifth RBI in the top of the sixth inning while Kent Kalen hit another one in the final inning to secure their 11th victory.

PSS 18, Hopwood 8

 Public School System continues to survive by handing Hopwood its 14th loss.

PSS lead batter Asap Ogumoro launched a solo home run in the top of the first and tripled two in the second inning to secure the lead.

Hopwood batters garnered a total of 14 base hits but only half of these completed the task as PSS fielders prevented them from scoring from third to the final inning.

PSS Frank Arurang drove in five with singles and a sacrifice fly, while Joe Reyes added two RBIs.

POI 18, PIC 8 

POI managed to hang on in the top 10 as it routed Pacific Island Club, 18-8.

Jun Kaipat drove-in two with his home run to help PO1 secure the 10-run rule victory. He hit four RBIs.

Ton Luzama who placed seventh in the batting leaders averaging .647 also sent home two base runners as he hit run-scoring triple in the first inning.

Mabel Ngirngemelas added two RBIs.
