After winning all its aggressors PHS- Spiders boys will have to seat on the bleachers as they watch the game between Mindszenty High School (MHS) Cardinals and Emmaus High School (EHS) Knights consolation game that was rescheduled due to heavy rains Tuesday afternoon and wait for the team that will meet them for the championship match.
For the girls division, Belau Modekngei School (BMS) lost consecutive matches against the team from Palau Mission Academy – Crusaders and Palau High School – B. BMS was unmatched by the talented player of PHS Spiders team B as they lost in just two sets on a best of three with a score of 25 – 9 and 25 – 24. Then on that same day, they again failed to get a win when they lost two straight sets from a competition against the Crusaders team from PMA. Games continues today were MHS meets EHS for the second time but this time for the consolation game and whoever wins gets to meet the waiting powerful team from PHS for the boys division championship that will be on Tuesday, March 3.The 2009 ISL Volleyball Tournament is a Tobacco and Alcohol free games and such are not allowed at the venue of the sport. In addition, fighting among the players involved will result in expulsion from the tournament.
