DCCA overpowered Legislature, 79-73, in a back to back match. DCCA beat DOC, 89-83 earlier that day.
The two teams left off with a score of 60-57 in favor of the Legislature in the first half of play on August 14, but a power outage prevented the rivals to see which will come out the victor.
Fans held on to their benches during the game, as DCCA charged back with Elias Rangamar connecting to the basket 25 times, as fellow DCCA teammate Taj Van Buren set loose 23 points.
Rangamar, once again, fired five rainbow shots behind the three-point line, and seemed to have lost connection with the basket when DCCA reached 67 points on the scoreboard.
Romeo Iginoet sealed the game for DCCA with his last two points, which created six points deficit over Legislature.
J. Punzalan of Legislature made only 17 points – not enough to narrow the margin from DCCA.
