In an email last Monday, Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Association President Michael A. White said that while recognizing the challenges of working in a smaller economy, Atma is looking forward to visit Saipan to work closely with NMASA in developing its own commercial potential.
With that, White said, “our athletes can fly the CNMI flag high in the region.”
White said the NMASA meeting at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym Conference Room at 7 p.m. today will feature Majaraj’s visit, a courtesy of the Pacific Games Council.
The NMASA president said Maharaj comes with over 20 years of experience in sports marketing and fundraising and hopes to leave behind some genuine programs that help NMASA and its member federations in sending athletes to the Pacific Games.
Every NMASA member federation, White said should have a representative at the meeting.
