With everybody busy with fishing and catching the biggest billfish, Etpison Cup and in partnership with the Palau Basketball Federation, have incorporated another brand of sport during the weekend in the form of 3 on 3 basketball challenge.
The challenge will have a three age division namely the 15 and under Co-Ed, Women’s Open Division, Men’s Division. A minimum of 4 teams must participate in each division where games will be held at the Drop Off Bar and Grill parking lot on May 29 and 30, 2010. Registration fees per team are pegged at $25 with a maximum of 5 players per roster. All payments are made payable to Palau Basketball Federation.
Deadline for team rosters is Friday, May 28 at around 4:30 p.m. 15 and under must provide a copy of proof of age to participate.
A technical meeting for all team organizers / coaches will be held at the National Gymnasium on Friday, 28th of May at 4:30p.m. Cash prizes for the top finishers of each division and a free basketball for each participating team.
The Etpison Cup 3 on 3 Tournament is a Tobacco, Alcohol and Drug Free program. Violators will be banned form participating.
