Thee Mama’s Snipers used their home arena to slip past the Buddies Tipiyeew in the Ladies division of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association’s darts competition last Monday.
It was a fair game in the first round of the Singles 301 Double in/ Double out as both teams split the 4 points right down the middle.
But the team players form Mamas Snipers got competitive as the Aida Laniyo, Flor Miranda, Matrina Lisua, and Cecilia Blas collared all of the points home in the Partner’s Wild and Crazy Cricket round.
But that did not daunt Tipiyeew as team players Patricia Mareham, Rita Fitial, and Lucille Ayuyu bagged all the points home in the Singles Regular Cricket round.
But even thought team Tipiyeew won the team 1001/1101 Double in/Double out round they came short to beating the Mamas Snipers as Aida Laniyo and Elsie Cabrera sniped their winning point in the Partners Baseball round putting them in the clear to beat team Tipiyeew by a hairline of a point, 8-7.
