Star Water’s Erwin Gomez and Ramon Borja couldn’t get their grip on Morales as he tallied 13 of his 18 points in the third quarter.
Pangelinan blasted two three-pointers for a 17 total while Adonis Macoto and Ed Yalung notched eight points apiece.
Yalung, wearing a “Ginobili” labeled jersey on the court, got off to a sloppy start after losing the ball twice to Jomari Tengco. Both he and Noel Delos Santos fired back-to-back layups in the final quarter for a combined 10 points. Morales worked his way through Star Water’s defense with turnaround jumpers and a fade away.
Tengco connected no baskets in the opening five minutes but scored four of Star Water’s 10 points late in the first half. Ramon Borja had earlier opened up with three straight 3’s for nine points.
Wings Travel’s Romeo Verano, Cruz, Lawrence Pantola, and Delos Santos scored four points each to secure the game.
Scoring 18 points, Tengco squeezed in an undefended three-pointer in the last 20 seconds.

Despite Joshua Kiyosai’s game high 30 points, team Jacem Printing still fell to Fresco Saipan, 70-66 in an earlier game.
Jerry Mabini and Jay-Ar Concepcion drew double digit scores for team Fresco at 22 and 19 points each, respectively.
Noel Mateo connected a layup and Brandon Aurelio scored on a free throw and two-pointer for Jacem Printing’s five points in the first quarter.
Before they can recover, Jerry Mabini had already posted six points on a series of fast break plays alongside Conception. Edwin Camacho lifted the team with another free throw and jumper.
Kiyosai and Brandon Aurelio needed only two points to break the game even by the second half, but missed on two layups.
Mabini tallied 12 points, Concepcion scored three, and Rivera earned two to close the fourth quarter.
Landing no baskets in the first half, James Arzadon tried to hoist team Jacem from the gutter on a three-pointer and last-minute jumpshot.
Two quick baskets from Concepcion and Mabini decided the match.
