Through the help of the Saipan Soccer School, students received pencils, crayons, drawing pads, and other learning materials through morning and afternoon sessions.
Members of the SSS demonstrated their sport with David Tsui and Jacky Li of the Hong Kong-based Chelsea FC Soccer School.
The day-long event isn’t new to Tsui, who usually aids children via clinics back home. This is his third time to visit Saipan, having arrived the first time during the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium’s grand opening last June.
“We thank the Saipan Soccer School for their help. I was really grateful for what they did. It helps the children experience more things and learn new sports” said Nakita Braganza, a teacher at the JMR center.
“Christmas to us is about kids and giving gifts,” added SSS President Jerry Tan, who was present at the event.
