In the Budweiser King & Queen of the Lane, Simon Manacop and Emi Williams prevailed in the two-day roll-off to win the November title.
With a few weeks more to go and one more roll-off to play, the Saipan Bowling Association’s monthly title holders are now preparing themselves for the annual championship that will be held early in January 2010.
Last Sunday, Aldan settled to the bottom eking out 121 pin falls in Game 1 but beat everybody in Game 2 by a wide margin tallying 185 pin falls against Marion McKenzie, Leeanne Yarobwemal, Nikko Gutierrez and Donald Hocket.
Aldan hanged on to the top scoring 153 pin falls in Game 3.
Yarobwemal bounced back in Game 4 hitting 170 pin falls to take the lead but fell short of defeating Aldan in the final tally.
Aldan finished with a total of 619 pin falls; McKenzie, 161 pin falls for the second place and Yarobwemal 612 pin falls to settle for third.
Manacop played only on Saturday but his 881 total pin falls remained undefeated on the next day to win the King& Queen of the Lane title.
He topped in Game 2 with 256 pin falls and Game 3 with 245 pin falls to set a gap wide enough to endure four of his opponents’ soaring scores in Game 4.
Raymond Angeles came in second with 825 pin falls and Raymond Zapanta tallied 798 pin falls to place third.
In the Queen of the Lane, Williams dominated the games in the whole weekend. She had 722 pin falls on Saturday and continued to beat everybody on Sunday with 696 pin falls.
Gloria Omechelang placed second with 689 pin falls and Ron Cal settled for third tallying 666 pin falls.
