With the decree, each National Sport Federation needs to select a member / representative to the team Palau Organizing Committee to jumpstart the planning and grounding of the forthcoming sporting occasion. The first meeting for team Palau is scheduled for Thursday, September 3 at the Palau National Olympic Committee office conference room. All designated representatives of each federation are hereby requested to attend for they will be meeting with Team Palau Chairman, Senator Regis Akitaya and other executive members of Team Palau Organizing Committee.
In addition to this, each sports association is also required to submit a name to be hailed as the tournament director for their respective sports to the Chairman of Sports Committee for 2010, Bill Keldermans at PNOC office or email to [email protected] or [email protected] Federation are composed of Archery, men and women; Athletics, men and women; Baseball, men only; Basketball, men and women; Outrigger Canoe, men and women; Table Tennis, men and women; Tennis, men and women; Triathlon, men and women; Softball – Fast Pith, men and women; Swimming, men and women; Weightlifting, men and women; Wrestling, men and women; Beach Volleyball, men and women; Indoor Volleyball, men and women; Micro All Around, men and women; and Spearfishing, men and women.
