Proceeds will go to the CNMI golf team that will compete in this year’s Pacific Games at Nouméa, New Caledonia.
Saturday’s games will be played in a double peoria format. The top 12 golfers with the lowest gross will advance to Sunday’s championship round.
Check-in time for both days is 11 a.m. and tee time is 12 p.m.
Golfers are encouraged to support the CNMI golf team.
Team SUFA to host softball tourney
TEAM SUFA will be hosting a Softball Fundraising Tournament in May 14 and 15 at the Capital Hill Softball Field.
Entry fee is $100 per team, and games follow a double elimination format. Competitors must have at least two females on the field at all times.
The tournament is limited to the first 10 paid teams. Prizes will be determined at a later date. A coaches’ meeting will be held on May 12, 6:30 p.m. at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
Proceeds will help Team SUFA compete in Portland, Oregon for the 2011 Labor Day Softball Tournament.
