Ron Gamboa ignited team Mobil’s winning rally after opening the first quarter with a downtown shot followed by another three pointer two minutes later.
Juan Maratita was then fouled on his way up to the basket bagging the second charity followed by two successful jump shots to give team Mobil the edge.
Center Larry Sharry made two lay-ups to help team Mobil keep the lead against the Smart Cagers. At the bottom of the opening quarter the scores were up 27-16.
Upon entering the second quarter team Mobil stepped it up a notch but the Smart Cagers’ defenders kept them at bay. First season’s Most Valuable Player Jhun Estolas then entered the court assuring Mobil’s win.
Estolas bagged eight points during the second quarter keeping his team’s distance against the Smart Cagers safely intact. At the bottom of the first half team Mobil was leading by six points 47-41.
During the second half of the game team Mobil gained 13 points during the third quarter leaving the scores at 68-61.
During the fourth quarter of the game team Mobil was able to secure their first win under their belts after team players Jhun Estolas, Sam Fernandez, and Ron Gamboa each bagged a three pointer shot. Team Mobil served the Smart Cagers a 92-85 deficit.

During the second game, team Konflikt won over the younger Rollers Madness team in overtime. Killing time was the best tactic team Konflikt brought to the court during the last critical seconds of the game to secure the win, 87-84.
