NMASA meeting today

THE Northern Mariana Amateur Sports Association reminds its members that it will hold its regular monthly meeting today, October 2.

The meeting time is moved to 6:30 p.m., instead of the usual 7 p.m.

The agenda will include a complete report on the Chef de Mission, Pacific Games Council meeting held in Cook Islands, the Council’s decision on the eligibility rule for the Pacific Games.

Futsal referee briefing/training set

THE Northern Mariana Islands Football Association (NMIFA) –Referee Committee will have a pre-season referee briefing and training on Friday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m.

The referee briefing/training is in preparation for the Fall Women’s Futsal League, which will kick off on October 11.

Experienced referees interested in learning the rules of futsal and officiating for the league on Saturday mornings are invited to attend.

The briefing/training will be held at the NMIFA Office at TSL Plaza, Garapan.

Last call for women’s futsal boot camp on Saturday

THE women’s committee of the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association will conduct its second futsal boot camp on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Navy Hill football field across Whispering Palms School.

The committee will still accept new women registrants for the bootcamp and upcoming league on the same day.

Participants ages 14 years and up may register at boot camp for $20. The league will run from October 11 to December 6, 2008 with games every Saturday.

RGA Family Fun Day

THE Refaluwash Golf Association would like to inform all its members that there will be a Family Fun Day on December 30 at a venue that will later be announced.
The event will include games for children, husbands and wives of RGA members.
Cash prize and in-kind items will be given away.
