Wabol fashioned 3-under par 69 to win the Championship Flight of the said tournament.
Wabol shot 35 on front nine, and 34 on the back, while Kautz crafted 35 and 37 in front and back nine, respectively.
Joji Taguchi landed on third place with his net score of 75.
Recently, Wabol’s team had won the 13th Annual Hyatt Golf Classic.
Wabol finished 11th at the Refaluwash Golf Association with a total of 75 points, after shooting 39 on front nine and 38 on back nine. He grossed 77 points with a two-point handicap.
The Kristo Rai Parish Golf Tournament was a fundraising project of the church to gather funds for the church’s operational expenses.
Margaret Dela Cruz, tournament coordinator, said they were able to collect $8,500 out of the registration fee alone, saying there were also donations in kind offered by some individuals and private firms.
A total of 85 players participated in the fundraising tournament of Kristo Rai church.
