Members will also get updated on plans for the Annual Sports Banquet on Feb. 19.
‘Fiesta on the Beach’ volleyball
A Fiesta on the Beach Volleyball Tournament will be held on Feb. 15.
Games will be for doubles men’s and women’s divisions.
This will be a great tune-up for the 17th Marianas Cup Beach Volleyball Festival in March.
SAN Jose Church is holding its Fundraising Golf Tournament on March 14 on a double Peoria format.
Tournament will be held at the Kingfisher Golflinks in Talafofo village.
Winners await $300 for first placer, $200 second placer and $1050 third placer.
Fourth to 10th placers will get consolation prizes in kind.
There will also be a surprise award for hole-in-one and closest to the pin in Hole No. 6.
Tournament fee is $100.
The proceeds of the tournament will go to the renovation of the San Jose Church.
Art of War 3
All-island grappling/submissions challenge No Gi unarmed combat tournament will be held March 14 at the Trench Tech Gym in Afetnas.
Entrance fee to compete is $20.00 per participant. Spectators pay $5.00 to watch.
There will be a BJJ brown belt and black belt super fight.
For all-weight categories, over 100 grapplers from CNMI, Guam and Philippines will be competing.
