Van Buren, Iginoef lead DCCA past Customs, 97-73

With Ando Benavente bursting out with four straight two-pointers, the DCCA had a good start while Customs managed to keep pace by aggressive inside plays.

Dennis Reyes’ third drive to the basket earned him complete free throw shots to hang on but Buren fired a three-pointer and Melody Watson connected two straight shots to pull DCCA away at the end of the first quarter.

Iginoef and Peter Camacho rampaged with nine and six points respectively in the second quarter as DCCA clamped Customs’ offense by trying to get rid of Jason Sablan and Jason Lizama who started bombarding with perimeter shots.

Iginoef basketed nine of his points to keep DCCA in the upper ground and ended the first half with four points lead.

Buren picked up where Iginoef left off scoring 15 of his total points in the third quarter.

Peter Camacho rampaged with seven points in the final quarter leading DCCA to leave Customs far behind and secure their 97-73 win.

Sky walker, Ponce Rasa Jr., chipped in 15 points.

Jason Lizama was the lead scorer of Customs and Reyes added 14 points.
