Yalung, also a coach for Wings Travel, squeezed in 13 points and Pangelinan top scored at 21 to secure the game.
Team Aldrin’s fate looked dim with an 11-point deficit, but that wasn’t stopping them from scoring. Donnel Isip blasted three three-pointers with a 15 total and Ferwayne Santos shot another three for their late game rally.
Pangelinan however, had already scored two field goals behind the three-point line in the third period as Wings Travel led, 64-43 by the final quarter. Morales tallied 20 points before his scoreless fourth period while Yalung took care of the rest of the game.
Team Aldrin’s Isip, John Griffin, and Paul Ichihara had Noel Delos Santos cornered below the basket, but that wasn’t stopping him from a perfect fade away.
Both Pangelinan and Reyes piled seven points before the final buzzer.
With three minutes left on the clock, team Aldrin collapsed on constant misses and three turnovers.
Delos Santos bagged eight points, Saturno and Reyes earned six each, and Pablo landed two free throws for two points.
