THE Marpac-Bud Light & Budweiser management has renewed their commitment to support the Saipan Electronic Darts Association and the Saipan Billiards Association.
Marpac General Manager Guy Pudney and Sales Manager James Lee recently presented a check for $4,000 to SEDA/SBA League Secretary Warlee T. Ellama.
Marpac has been a continuous darts/billiards supporter for over 20 years now. The funding Marpac provided this year will cover awarding trophies and other league administrative expenses of SEDA and SBA.
The Saipan Electronic Darts Association and the Saipan Billiards Association are managed by Pacific Amusement with the help of Marpac, Bud Light and Budweiser.
SEDA and SBA organize year-round events for island residents who enjoy the camaraderie and competition.
SEDA and SBA have already accumulated some impressive statistics. More than 3,500 players have participated in the league play since SEDA began in 1993. SEDA and SBA’s current leagues have a total of 52 teams with over 350 participants.
League play is held at the following Saipan locations: Jonny’s Bar & Grill, Safehouse, Just Chillin Saipan, Spicy Thai Restaurant, 6JMS Sport Bar, Rivers Billiards, True North Bar & Grill, Oleai Beach Bar, Last Shot Bar, 9 Eleven Restobar, Oleai Beach Bar, Tambayan Resto, and Marianas Bistro.
“Our leagues have room for every skill level, even beginners,” SEDA and SBA said. “SEDA & SBA are among the biggest sports leagues in the CNMI, playing Monday through Thursday all over Saipan. Pacific Amusement, SEDA, SBA and all Saipan darts and billiards players are extremely thankful for Marpac’s continuous support.”
Warlee T. Ellama, secretary of the Saipan Electronic Darts Association and the Saipan Billiards Association, holds the sponsorship checks handed by Marpac General Manager Guy Pudney and Sales Manager James Lee.
