Dog for adoption
(PAWS) — Lucky is a male boonie dog, that is thought to be about 4 years old. He has been de-wormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
Lucky is up for adoption to the right family. He would make a great companion dog for a farmer or outdoor man, as he seems to prefer the companion of men. Lucky does not like children, and should not be adopted by a family with numerous children, children who do not know how to properly and safely handle a dog, or live near numerous people. Lucky has a history of biting neighborhood children when approached too quickly, so he needs to either live on a farm or in a fenced yard.
Lucky would make a great family guard dog, as he does not seem to show any signs of aggression toward family members. However, again, he would best fulfill his role as a guard dog in a fenced yard where he could roam freely to protect the house and still be kept away from neighborhood children.
If you or someone you know would like to meet Lucky, contact PAWS at 285-PAWS.
