Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that police responded to eight felonies incidents that include burglaries and grand larcenies incidents; 15 misdemeanors that include malicious mischief incidents, disturbances, trespassing and assault and battery incidents; nine traffic that include negligent driving, reckless and DUI driving and hit and run incident.
Among these reported incidents was a vehicle that runs into traffic sign in Iyebukel on May 4 at 1:55 am.The police report indicated that a police sergeant called and reported that he pulled over a vehicle that almost collided to a main traffic sign in Iyebukel.The vehicle reversed and hit a traffic sign.The driver identified as Rico De Jesus Santa Ana, 32, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.The police report also indicated that on May 3 at 9:30 am, a security of Palau Royal Resort reported a vehicle that run off the roadway at the intersection of Malakal Industrial Center.The police report stated that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene but was later located at the hospital where he was treated for his injuries.The driver was identified as Jay-Five Obak, 18 who was arrested for reckless driving.A juvenile was also arrested for DUI and reckless driving on May 3.Two vehicles were also engaged in collision on May 2 at the Long Island beach.One of the vehicles fled the scene after the accident, police said.
