Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that a woman called on Monday at 7:45 am and reported that someone broke into the Register’s office and stole money.
The police report indicated that an unknown suspect broke into the office through the front door.A dive shop in Malakal was also burglarized and the burglar stole gas tank and three diving regulators and VCD jackets amounting over $7,000.Aguon said that on Monday at 7:40 am, someone called police and reported that someone broke the glass window of Talambulang building in Ngaraard’s State office in Meketii.In other police reports, a woman reported police at 3:56 pm that someone went to her taro patch in Ngerbechdesau and stole wrist watch and $50 from a back top belonging to her farmer.The woman said the suspect fled immediately after stealing the items.Another theft incident was also reported to the police on Monday at 2:27 pm.The caller said that a man went to their store in Malakal and took cigarette and liquor and left without paying for it.A man walked in to the police station on Tuesday morning and reported that his video cam which was placed on his desk at the Ministry of Education Office was missing.A police officer also reported on Tuesday morning that he went to the Palau National gym and discovered that 20 judo mats were missing.A woman also called on Wednesday morning and reported that someone stole two tires from a vehicle that was parked at the area next to the Mobil gas station.A man also called police and reported that a man who was drunk broke the phone line for Shell gas station in Airai.Two men also reported that their car’s license plates were also stolen.
