Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon is calling for the public’s cooperation by preventing car accidents during the Christmas season.
Aguon said motorist should designate drivers if they are going to drink to ensure a safe drive home.
He also asks the parents to be watchful of their juvenile children to ensure that they are not into teenage drinking.
“I know there will be a lot of drinking because it’s a holiday season that’s why the Bureau of Public Safety is reminding them to be more careful and to be more responsible drinkers,” Aguon said.
The Chief of Patrol added that parents should not let their minor children leave the house without any adult’s supervision.
“They should know where the kids go and who are they hanging out with. Let’s be responsible parents by caring for our children,” Aguon said.
“For the drivers, let’s be responsible drivers by driving safely. Please don’t drive if you are drunk. If you go out and drink, designate a driver,” Aguon said.
