Olegriil was Administrative officer III of the BPS for eight years before she was promoted as the second highest in command of the BPS.
Olgeriil also served as the Administrative officer II for four years from 1997-2001 and Prison Rehabilitation Counselor at the PBS Division of Corrections from 1992-1997.
“I feel very happy. Doing my work for so long and I’ve never seen myself as a woman doing this kind of work. But it’s a distinction being the first woman to reach this position.” Olegeriil said in an interview.
She said that part of her commitment is to excel and give 100 percent dedication in serving the public, and ultimately the Republic by being earnest and diligent in her service career at the BPS.
The oath taking ceremony was administered by BPS Director Norvert Yano witnessed by President Johnson Toribiong, Justice Minister Johnny Gibbons, police personnel of the BPS and other government officials.
