AN abandoned house in Chalan Kanoa was burglarized and set on fire early yesterday morning.
A firefighter told Variety that the three-bedroom building belonged to his father, Francisco Borja Tudela.
The firefighter said the suspects vandalized the house, took some clothes, kitchenware and other items.
He said the suspects then burned the building between 3 to 4 a.m. The fire damaged the interior of the house.
The firefighter said his father abandoned their old residence four to five months ago. He said there was a plan to renovate the house.
Two months ago, he said, un-identified persons, most likely juveniles, broke into the house, vandalized it and stole some items.
Police and arson investigators are investigating the incident.
