Aldan, 65, is serving a 10-year jail term in Taft, California. He is expected to be released on Nov. 25, 2012.
The U.S. Probation Office has informed the federal court that Aldan has requested to be transferred to the Central District of California upon his release from prison.
Aldan will be placed on three years supervised release.
The request was not approved because the conditions in the current judgment and commitment order were not adequate to supervise Aldan, court documents stated.
Chief Judge Ramona Villagomez Manglona approved the modified conditions for Aldan’s supervision that included the inmate’s financial matters in meeting his financial obligations as ordered by the court.
On top of the prison term imposed on July 12, 2004, then-Chief Judge Alex R. Munson also ordered Aldan to pay $5.48 million to the Bank of Saipan and $209,980 to bank customer Michelle Hom to be paid jointly with co-defendants Michael T. Wilson and Bert Douglas Montgomery.
Aldan will also perform 300 hours of community service.
Aldan was convicted by a federal jury in 2003 along with Montgomery.
DuSean Berkich, another defendant, committed suicide before he was sentenced.
