Donahue will be working closely with the Department of Education mainly on program transition and implementation activities.
Shea will be focusing his meetings with state agencies which are recipient to the three smaller sectors of the Compact funds, namely capacity building, environment, and private sector development.
Implementation of programs funded under such carry over funds had been extended by the Joint Economic Management Committee to March 2011. However, the state legislature has yet to re-appropriate the funds.
The visit will also coincide with the scheduled meeting for members of the FSM Compact Review Committee.
