The hearing focused on three congressional bills and issues relating the FSM Project Management Unit, or PMU, vis-à-vis implementation of infrastructure development projects.
Following brief introduction remarks from Lt. Gov. Tony Tareg and Committee Chairman Deon Neth, discussion on PMU issues and concerns ensued.
As was the case with the recent visit by the program manager of PMU, state witnesses were keen in raising frustrations with the slow progress of implementing state projects that have been on the books for the past years.
