Armatech’s Martin Moreno ignited the winning momentum for the team and readily showed his basketball talents after collaring 7 points while his teammates Bernardo Montano, Sonny Ebuen, and Frank Beilo each contributed 4 points to help Moreno snatch an early lead from the Old Aces after Tony Rogolifoi, Tony Luzana, and Rommie Mejpa each bucketed 4 points in their attempt to keep the Armatechs at bay.
By the end of the quarter the Armatechs secured their lead by 4 points, 23-19.
In the second quarter of the game Armatech’s Sonny Ebuen and Bernard Montano both breached past the Ol Aces’ defense line and score 6 points a piece followed by two jump shots from Bong Malasarte after grabbing the rebound to aggressively push Armatech’s leading presence in the game.
By the end of the first half of the game, the Armatechs stretched the gap to 7 points, 47-40.
Both teams anticipated the second half as it brought you new hope and motivation for both teams.
Montano was able pound 9 points for the Armatechs after mulling the Ol Aces repteadly in the third quarter of the game. Ebuen, Edwin Arenae, Frank Beilo each followed this winning streak by combinations of lay ups, jump shots, fade away shots, and off they key shots to secure Armatech’s win firmly. Each player scored 4 points each respectively, 76-51.
It was history for the Ol Aces as fatigue got the better part of them. Armatech took no time for remorse for the other team and instead took major advantage of their faltering defense line as an opportunity to score for more points.
Ebuen and Leo Canedo scored another 6 points for the Armatechs while their teammate Martin Moreno and Bong Malasarte scored another 4 points to sweep the Ol Aces off of the court, 102-75.
