Cycling booth eyeing big turn out in health fair

The health fair is now expecting a great turn out for the cycling safety booth. There will be a presentation on the previous Hell of the Marianas race last year with a presentation of the 2010 Tour De France.

There will be lessons and try out on cycle training on bike spinner rollers. There will be available lessons on basic bike repair i.e tire change and much more.

Pamphlets on how to keep safe on the roads will be passed out on the day of the fair and much, much more so the entire community is highly encouraged especially the participants for the up coming Hell of the Marianas Race next month,

If there are other volunteers please feel free to contact Paul Plunkett at [email protected] if: 1) if you can spend a couple of hours helping at the booth and what time works best for you, 2) any cycling related activity ideas you or someone else might be able to provide to the event, 3) if you can make a couple of hundred copies of safety message and 4) any other ideas you have for the event or cycling safety in general.

Special thanks are being extended out to Brad Ruszala and the Pacific Islands Club for offering to print out bicycle safety pamphlets for the community.
